FACTORIES AS ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

FACTORIES AS ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Today, as T-COD Architecture, we would like to talk about factory architecture. Let's take a look at how the architecture of these industrial establishments, where many people work together, should be.

HOW SHOULD THE FAVTORY ARCHITECTURE BE?

With the emergence of large enterprises, factories, which are a new type of structure that have special spatial features, have developed. In factory buildings, an architectural design and application for the needs of the enterprise is of great importance. Because a correct design has a great impact on the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the company. Correct layout is one of the most important elements in factory designs. The correct positioning of areas such as administrative part planning, manufacturing floor, shipping departments determines the main lines of the work plan. Generally, basements are used as production floors, while upper floors are used for storage and sgipping departments.

If a building is being built from scratch in factory architecture, it must be designed with the possibility of needing additional builkdings in the future with the possibility of growth. Floor height is one of the most important issues in factory buildings. One of the determining factors of floor height is what the factory does. Because the size of the machines to be used in the factory and the storage issue determine the height.

COMMON USE AREAS IN FACTORY ARCHITECTURE

First of all, offices should be determined according to the number of employees in factpry designs. It is very important to create social areas in these places where employees spend most of the day. Social areas suitable for common use should be created by including playgrounds such as dining hall, locker rooms, billiards and table tennis in the plan.

As T-COD Architecture, we realize our designs in both architectural and interior design and applications that we are advancing towards the needs.
