INTERIOR DESIGN AND ART MEET AT HOME

INTERIOR DESIGN AND ART MEET AT HOME

As T-COD Architecture, we wanted to share with you this week some tips on how to capture that special feeling where art and design meet in your home. Interior design aims not only to address aesthetic concerns but also to add meaning, character and emotion to our living spaces. Here are some creative and inspiring suggestions that will transform your home into a gallery...

CREATE A MINI GALLERY CORNER

Reserve a corner in your home solely for design. A small console, a characterful object on it, a few architectural books and an illustrative frame... With a pouf or a modern chair that you place under it, this area becomes both an aesthetic and meaningful stopping point. Every home has a ''focal point''. Determining this yourself will adorn the home with your story.

ADD DEPTH WITH TEXTURED DESIGNS

Instead of just flat surfaces; prefer textured paintings, macrame panels or wall works enriched with fabric. Such 3D effects add both visual and tactile richness to the space. Texture is a silent but powerful narrative tool. It creates a sense of warmth, lived-in and originality in the space.

INCLUDE MOVEMENT INTO DESIGN

Kinetic sculptures or objects that move gently with the wind/light... These types of elements add liveliness to your home. They give the impression that your home is ''talking.'' Adding dynamism to a space breaks the static perception and increases the user's interaction with the environment.

CREATE A GALLERY WALL THAT SPEAKS WITH COLOR

Turn your wall into a color story by choosing works with a specific color palette, unlike black and white drawings. All frames can be in pastel tones or combined with warm colors. Color determines the feeling of the space. Let it be the ''language'' of your gallery wall; cheerful, calm or noltalgic.

TAKE DESIGN FROM THE WALL TO THE FLOOR

Display some objects by leaning them on the floor. Instead of hanging them on the wall, leaning the frames on the floor creates a temporary exhibition effect. This gives the home a natural sense of movement and creativity. The floor is just as telling as the wall. You can add a new layer to the space with creative arrangements.

BRINGING PLANTS TO ART

A large-leafed plant placed next to or in front of your design objects... This moment when natural and design balance meet changes the holistic perception of the space. Plants add not only naturalness but also contrast and softness. When supported by the right light, they create a ''living painting'' effect in the space.

INTEGRITY OF EMOTION, AESTHETICS AND FUNCTION IN DESIGN

As T-COD Architecture, in all the projects we carry out, we focus not only on functionality but also on living spaces that integrate with aesthetics, emotion and art. Designing homes that have a gallery feel and that welcome you with inspiration every day is not a luxury for us, it is a necessity. Because in our opinion, a home should not only be a place to live in; it should also be a space that reflects, nourishes and transforms you. We believe that details make a difference in design, and we work diligently to make this difference felt in our projects.
