THE USE OF COLORS IN INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE DESIGNS
Our living spaces, working environments and even the social spaces where we spend time… The colors preferred in the designs of all these have psychological effects that affect our mood. As T-COD Architecture, how do we use colors in our interior design projects that we design and implement, and how do we choose them? Which color means what in interior architectural designs? How should we use colors? Let's find the answers to these questions together.
As T-COD Architecture, our priority in the designs we apply is to reflect the style and spirit of our customers. Therefore, each project goes through a unique and different design phase. Colors also play an important role at this point. Because colors are very successful in creating and representing an identity. The purpose for which a space is used is a very important criterion for determining the colors of that space. While using dark tones in official areas and adding weight, ostentatiousness and formality to the space, we can capture energy and dynamism by using warm colors in our living spaces. While using warm colors such as red, yellow and orange in non-classical spaces, we should use cold colors for classical spaces. Especially since many materials are used together in living spaces, it is difficult to adapt to all of them. Therefore, soft transitions in colors should be preferred and contrasting colors should be avoided as much as possible. Because the harmony of the colors and materials preferred in that house is as important as the items used in a house. It would be more accurate to use contrasting and striking colors in objects. One of the most frequently used colors in today's modern homes is white. As it adds freshness to the space, you can also have the opportunity to make a change whenever you want with small object changes. Likewise, the green color can be used comfortably in any place with different tones. In general, the size of the space, the purpose of use, the natural light and lighting power it receives, the characteristics of fixed objects are one of the most important factors affecting the decoration style. It is necessary to evaluate all these as a whole and to design such a design. Considering that many materials are used together in living spaces, it is very difficult to achieve this harmony. The use of colors and materials is very important for designs in order to increase the quality of life.
As T-COD Architecture, when deciding on the color of the space in the designs we carry out, we keep the tastes of the people who will live in that space in the foreground, catching the harmony and adding differences to the space. We offer our customers peaceful living spaces by determining a color scale that is compatible with aesthetic integrity.
