LIGHTING IN INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNS

Today, as T-COD Architecture, we would like to talk about the effects of lighting on the interior. Let's take a look at how indoor lighting should be and what should be considered.

Lighting is one of the most important comportant components of interior design. Because with the preferred lighting, the space can be perceived as larger or smaller. Therefore, one of the most important roles of the right lighting in the interior is its function. While the designcan be lost with an incorrect lighting can be a savior in the design. In lighting preferences, the angle of incidence, amount, spread, color and position should be adjusted according to the effect and target to be created in the space. Because lighting directly affects the mood and perception of the interior. Perception, especially in small spaces, can be changed with lighting. With concealed lighting, which is one of the most preferred options for general lighting, it can create a softening effect in the colors of the designed interior. In regional lighting, a region or object that is desired to be highlighted. Lighting elements can also be used as part of general lighting and regional lighting. In interior designs, corners should be illuminated with lighting elements, sconces should be used on the walls according to the design style, and a general illumination should be provided with hidden lighting. A direct general illumination can be provided by illuminating the ceiling with upward illuminations, or by illuminating the wall and floor with downward illuminations, and a general illumination may be provided by the light reflected from here. With bidirectional lighing, a general lighting design can be created by illuminating the ceiling, wall and floor equally.

As T-COD Architecture, we see the lighting designs that we pay attention to in our interior design designs as an important part of our designs that are thought out to the smallest detail.
